As regular Disney concierge cruisers, we are discovering that other lines offer so much more for the money and the DCL prices are getting insane for concierge. We look forward to trying Seabourn and other lines. We have Celebrity booked for March. 😮

So far, we are midway halfway through the year, and it's been full of tears with some joy sprinkled in. July 5th, 2024 my 15yr old dog Noodles passed away. Before that since January, I've had 5 other family members pass away. My best friend is moving further away and we've had less time together. There have been some highlights of watching youtube videos like your that make me happy and are an escape, line dancing classes with family and friends, going to Gaitlinburg with 18 family members for a weekend, health achievements such as weight loss and more, having a few happy family and friend hangouts, working womens convention was fun, new years eve game night was a blast, works pretty good because of my coworkers.

Check the nationals baseball schedule and see if they are playing at Nats Park. Lots of good restaurants around there.

This year has been busy and flown …. I think the years go faster as you get older. You have inspired me Sherri - 30 pounds is amazing 🎉 We just booked our second Disney cruise to New Zealand for December 2025 which is soooo exciting. Very thankful for my friends and family ❤ and loving being invited to be a part of your world

I cannot believe you do not like the thrill rides. Glad you had someone to hang out with when he went on Indiana Jones though. =) Thank goodness there is still so many fun rides you can still love too! Disney has the best rides for all ages and to have the best fun no matter what kind of rides are your favorites! You guys got such cute stuff!

Thankful that our daughter had her surgery . Maybe when she is healed, we will be able to travel. We are also grateful to be able to watch our little granddaughters once a week.

I would give this year a 7 so far. There has been some hard stuff that should make that number lower but through it all God has been faithful and we have much to be thankful for! On Mother's Day, Chris had a TIA which was very scary and then a few weeks later he had to have 2 surgeries for kidney stones. Praise the Lord he has recovered and we are currently on a road trip that we have been planning for a few years - the International Selkirk Loop. It has been beautiful! Our next trip is next month to Ohio to meet our new grandson and we have our first cruise planned for 2025, which seems like forever away, but will be here before we know it! Congrats on 9 years on UA-cam, weight loss, and adulting like rock stars! ❤️ - Chantel

In just a few days, I have a birthday and go into another decade. We had a few bumps in the road my hubby and I. Overall it is a good 2024, looking forward to a calmer rest of the year.

My husband and I drove to Flagstaff AZ to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. I started to read my first book of the year. My goal is for 2 books. Don’t have any travel plans. But October 2025 I have booked a Princess cruise to the New England & Canada leaving from New York. Thank you and God bless the both of you!❤ It’s been a 6 for me.

This year has been an 8 for me as well. Weight loss with a solid change in my relationship with food. Retirement allows for an increase in volunteer work. Great family time. Looking forward to first trip to Alaska this summer - planing time in Denali but Riley fire will make that decision for us. Heaviness continues with hostages in Gaza and the war. Watching and listening to you made increased the rating from 7 to 8. Thanks for being a breath of fresh air even when it's big stuff.

The stadium, BC Place, has an interesting history. First built with a fabric dome roof held up by air pressure, so that the doors had to be airtight when closed. They replaced it with the posts and suspension wires you see now, because the power bill for the pressure fans was enormous!

What I’m excited for is my 3 cruises starting in Sept then Oct and finally Dec for our New Years cruise. With Princess sale for the drink package, our Christmas Cruise we will be Elite. Every year starts out a 10 and then gets lowered only if something really bad happens. My husband has been experiencing some health issues but those seem to be getting under control, so I'm thankful for that. I started a new business and it's slow going but I'm loving the work of it so that's good. I am caregiver for my 94 year old father who lives with us and I am homeschooling our 12 year old daughter. They are both doing well so that's good too. Our son, who serves in the Coast Guard, and his wife got restationed to a port only about 6 hours from our home so we have been able to see them more which is awesome. I am most looking forward to a short little 4 day cruise that my sister and I are taking in October. We both just need to get away and I am counting the days. So far, I'd say my year is still a solid 9 !

Our 20th anniversary is also in 2025. We booked the Seabourn Pursuit to Antartica! I was super happy to see your Seabourn videos.

Mine has been a 4 but have lots to look forward to the last half of the year that will hopefully make it a 8

It's been a kind of rough year so far. But I just keep trying to stay positive! January we had -43° wind-chill and had an electrical fire at our house. The contractors are very very very slowly putting the inside of the house together. But we were lucky. We caught the fire and it was put out before there was a lot of damage. We had already planned to stay the night at my mom's house, so we had us and our son, our dogs, extra clothes and everyone's medication with us. So that was a huge blessing! We were all safe! Thankfully my mom lives close by and she welcomed us into her home, with our two dogs. None of us thought it was going to be 5 1/2 months though... And still counting. Then in February one of our dogs passed away suddenly. He was 11, and we're wondering if the anxiety of moving to a different house, a house that already had 2 dogs, was too much for him. 😢 But we're thankful that we still have our other dog (who still doesn't get along with my mom's Saint Bernard). Our son who is 4 now, has been on seizure medication since before his first birthday. He has had the hardest time learning to talk, only being able to get out one word at a time and they were very few different words. His doctor and neurologist told us that he might now really be able to speak. Work on using alternative ways to communicate. We switched to sign language for him. And it was going great! But in March our son was winged off of his seizure medication and his speech has just been growing and growing! He talks almost nonstop now! And we wouldn't have it any other way! Life is full of good stuff and bad stuff. But if we only see the bad, we'll miss all of the good! You're videos definitely help me be reminded of the good, when the bad seems to keep coming. Thank you!! 😊

I've been to DC once for work. It was mid Sept and it was still hot. One thing I enjoyed was a DC trolley tour in the evening. The monuments are stunning at night when they're all lit up. I wanted to see a show at the Kennedy Center but not enough time. Go to Nando's Peri Peri for chicken. We don't have them on the west coast.

I’m sure it might sound odd to hear that this whole cancer journey has been so worth it. Adam has groceries delivered to my door, he pays my bills online, his brother pays for a housekeeper for me and a yard person. My life has never been easier! Even after I started feeling better last year and I told Ronnie that I probably didn’t need so much help around the house - his response was mom you’re 75 years old, let’s just keep her on.💕 i’ve raised two incredible sons who i’ve always been proud of and well into their adulthood I continue to count my blessings. I am giving the first part of 2024 a nine.

Husband celebrated his 10 year work anniversary. Just got back from a nice vacation able to celebrate with my dad, husband and brother for Father’s Day with my son’s. Hope my son finds a teaching job soon not much has pop up yet. One son is going a solo trip to Hawaii for an event that he likes.

you guys are too cute! This year has been a rough year for a lot of people. I am excited to be getting a new position here at work soon, going on an Alaska cruise in Aug; Branson, Mo for Thanksgiving; and somewhere with my hubby and our dog in December. Oh an Sherri, I'm on book 210! ;-)

2024 has been hard, but not as hard as 2023 and 2022. We do have some fun trips planned. We are headed to Louisiana next wee to visit Brooklyn and TJ and in September we are fulfilling one of Audras life dreams. We are going to Florida!!! Headed to Disney World and Universal. Work is SO good for Derrick. He finally has found his career and he loves it. I am in a MUCH better work environment with an incredible boss . We feel blessed, even through the trails. We sure do love you guys and are so happy to see you both so happy.

Just found your channel and had to subscribe! We visited Sitka in 2022 and loved our time there - it really is a beautiful place - and we are going back in 2025. I loved that you show a variety of things - from the history, nature and shopping. The tips on what roads you drove for the views was so helpful! We rolled into Delani on this day we saw this fire up close in the afternoon we got turned around at the park entrance and they closed the park. Was super bummed to miss our chance at Denali National Park but super grateful they kept us safe. We at least had great Denali pictures from a distance; the mountain was out 🎉

You share places I thoroughly love in Pueblo!!!! But you also need to hit the County in the summer on the weekend, lunch at MI Ranchito then hit MUSSOS FARM for veggies, fruit, flowers or hit MAUROS FARM and get their goodies!!! From MAUROS, you can order fresh green chili sent to you in 3days!!!!! And then you can roast it yourself and Carla is happy to make you a customer for life!!!! She has me!!!!!
